By accessing or using the Oklahoma GAL Registry at oklahomagal.directory (“the Registry”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the Registry is — and is not

The Registry is a directory of self-authored listings by attorneys who serve as Guardians ad Litem in Oklahoma. It is provided for informational purposes only.

• The Registry is not legal advice and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Using the site, viewing a listing, or sending a contact request does not by itself retain any attorney.
• A listing is not an endorsement, certification, or recommendation of any attorney by the Registry. We do not vet competence, and inclusion does not imply quality.
• Availability is self-reported by each GAL and may be out of date.
• Any engagement, scope, and fees are arranged directly between you and the GAL. We are not a party to that arrangement.

Accuracy of listings

Each GAL is responsible for the accuracy of their own listing and for keeping it current. We do not independently verify the contents of a listing beyond confirming, at claim time, that it is associated with an Oklahoma Bar member. We make no guarantee that any GAL will respond to or accept a matter.

Obligations of listed attorneys

If you claim a listing, you represent that you are a licensed Oklahoma attorney authorized to serve as a Guardian ad Litem, that the information you publish is truthful and not misleading, and that you will keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for compliance with the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct, including those governing attorney advertising and solicitation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect listings or contact information; not to use contact information for unsolicited marketing; and not to interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site. Contact information is provided so individuals can reach a GAL about a specific matter.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Registry is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Registry and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, your reliance on any listing, or any interaction with a GAL.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
